About this place
Juya’s takoyaki stand out for their satisfying size. Diners describe a lightly firm exterior and a gooey centre, with plenty of sweet sauce. Some take their takoyaki away; others enjoy it in the restaurant with ika-yaki. It’s an appealing choice when you’re in the mood for a plate of Japanese flour-based comfort food.
For a more substantial meal, yakisoba and okonomiyaki are also on the menu. The yakisoba comes with sauce for 600 yen or as a mixed version for 700 yen, with options including pork, squid and a seafood mix. The “Soba Tako Set” pairs yakisoba with 5 takoyaki, making it a handy way to try both.
There’s seating inside, and the drinks list includes draft beer and chūhai. You can settle in for takoyaki or ika-yaki with a drink, or have a full meal; both dine-in and takeaway are available.
